CONNECTOR · One optional connector available today

GitHub Connector

Connect GitHub when development context should become organizational context.

GitHub is one optional connector available for organizations that need it—not a standalone INARY capability. Once an administrator connects approved repositories, INARY can use repository, pull-request, issue, and check information in the organization’s conversations. Members can ask what changed and why it matters, then review a proposed GitHub action before it runs.

WHAT CHANGES

How GitHub Connector changes the work

  1. 01

Let an administrator connect the organization’s GitHub App only when GitHub is part of the work.

  2. 02

Use approved repository, pull-request, issue, and check information in the same INARY conversation as the organizational context around it.

  3. 03

Prepare an issue, pull request, merge, or workflow action and let a person review it before GitHub changes.
