Frequently asked questions

Current public information about INARY's role, capabilities, permissions, AI models, and availability.

01

What is INARY?

INARY is an AI workspace for organizations. Members can talk in shared Threads and Chats, ask INARY in the same conversation, and use email or optional Connectors to move from a shared answer into approved work across other services.

02

How is INARY different from using ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude individually?

When ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude is used individually, the interaction is mainly between one user and the AI. In INARY, members talk in shared Threads and Chats and ask INARY in the same conversation. Everyone in that conversation can review the question, answer, later corrections, and final decision.

03

Which services can INARY connect to?

Connectors are an expandable foundation rather than a fixed service list. Google and GitHub are currently available as optional connectors. Desktop Connector is available only in the desktop app for explicitly permitted folders. The catalog can expand into accounting, HR, CRM, sales, project management, and other services through connectors developed by INARY or service vendors.

04

What if the connector I need does not exist yet?

In the desktop app, Local MCP lets a user add tools from a locally configured MCP server without waiting for an official connector. This makes it possible to connect internal systems and specialized workflows beyond the published connector catalog.

05

Can an organization manage access and external actions?

Yes. Administrators can manage members, departments, roles, Thread creation permissions, public and private Threads, and Connector policies. Changes made through Connectors can be shown for human review before they are executed.

06

Which AI models are currently selectable?

The current public feature information lists Gemini 3.5 Flash and Gemini 2.5 Flash as selectable models.

07

When does the open beta begin?

Open beta is scheduled to begin in August 2026. No application or pre-registration is required.

08

How can I ask about rollout or implementation?
